Nice flips Poor fit

I loved the look and the quality is good as far as flip flops go but the sizing is so off. I wear an 8.5 shoe sizes range 7-8 (med) and 9-10. (Large) I ordered a large which were huge. They credited and I ordered medium and they were still huge. Sizing looks like it’s for a man’s foot. I gave it to my son to use in the garden and will have to give the others away. They were professional regarding the return but I’m disappointed that I can’t use them.
